    Rear Mounted Turbo STS

I was just looking on you tube. And saw this sts system on a camiro. I wanted to do this way way back. Alot of members said dont do it. Looks like a setup that wouldnt be bad. just dont have a big ass turbo. a t25 like i have should spool quick. heres a vid

looks like a good setup. would be around the same price if you do it homemade i say.

Ive seen a GTO done like that, looks ok to me and shouldnt really need any real big IC like that

yes thats true. i think it would be cheaper since no manifold, use your header an 2 1/4 piping. idk something someone should consider doing

    Re: Rear Mounted Turbo STS

FWIW-There is a ton of info here on rear mounts. I too would be interested in a rear mount project, it seems that most who have them like them. I have not seen one person say that they have it and it sucks, don't do it. I think to do it right, it would cost close to the same, but, it solves a lot turbo problems too, it may, may being a key word, just have a little extra lag.

Key thing i think is just use a small turbo. dont get a t3/t4 hybrid then lag accurs. just some good flow an a fast spooling turbo would be great. I would love to see a 3geez do this. first sts 3geez FTW lol

The thing is, it seems like not all of them are doing the small turbo thing, either way, I'd rock it for sure, I just want like 200 at the wheels when I get one, nothing major.
