    Question 88 accord LX carberated

    I have an 88 accord LX carberated can I put a 88 LXi engine in it and what parts would I need and how much trouble would it be.

    What do you want to do?
    Are you converting to Fuel injected or are you using the A20A3 block and head with the A20A1 intake and exhaust.

    I just want to swap the A20A1 for the A20A3 .does anyone know what i need to do this.

    almost everyone i ask about the swap from carberated A20A1 to the fuel injected A20A3 say to swapping the motor is not a problem but to make it run right thats the problem.is it so

    yeah, toobad you cant just reach in there and give your a20 a sex change. but i did see a conversion where an old civic air filter chamber was mounted to a weber, allowing our fellow rice unit to have that grand ol' feeling of cold air intake reassurance. if you stand far enough away and squint you can pretend it's an efi.
