Is there a reason you keep reposting this same question in different areas? I already deleted one of them today. This would be duplicate post #3.

this one says I Have a JDM B20 out of a 86-89 Accord. I'm putting it in a 86 Accord Lx(carb car) What else do I need for the swap.
the other said Im getting a JDM B20 out of a 86-89 Accord. I'm putting it in a 86 Accord Lx(carb car) What else do I need for the swap.
but yes stick two one thread ow man!!
JDM B20A, F2K5 or B2K5, or if you're creative, which I assume you're not, a JDM B18A tranny, or B18A bellhousing on USDM A20A transmission
You are obviously lacking the original. I have heard of people running B20A's on B20A5 ECU's
Depends on what transmission or intermediate shaft, if any, you use. Read.
Connect as intended. The intake manifold is the same as the A20A3
Please read. Thanks. Everyone who has posted information regarding this has just had their time wasted, by you.

Why do you feel the need to be such a dick! I知 just looking for helpful advice. If you have a problem helping people why post anything at all. You gave some good info but, you were a dick while doing so. There is no point in trying to insult my creativity, I know all to well how to make adapter plates and cut and weld bell housings. But why do that when I can bolt something up. I'm new with the "Old" B20 stuff and was looking for help. So I guess what I知 trying to say is thank for the F*#king smart A$s Help/Advise that you gave me. It will be very helpful and I look forward to talking to you again.
From: your sweetheart Old school
do you have a transmission for it....that engine should drop right in....its a direct replacement. the harness should be the same off a fuel injected accord....plan on running fuel injection or carbs?

Hey sweetheart, that's just the way I am. My assumptions are up to me, and it's up to you to prove me wrong.
I was actually throwing you a bone. The answers are indeed all over the site, and they are far more thorough and detailed than I can provide.
Oh, and good luck with the swap. Talk to you later.

old school, keep us posted on the adapter plate if it comes to that!
You have to ignor some of the newb flaming and also some of us myself included can come off abrasive at times so water off a ducks back man...
the auto tx will do till you get something? Not much difference really until you do get ready to put in a 5 speed, as far as what extra expense or work you have to do with the swap.
A to B Kit. Thats right I said it. The A20A trans to B20A engine Adapter plate is in the works. and F/I is out and quad carbs are in. I'll start a new thread about the build soon
woot woot...good to know bro...U GOing to have to sell some of those adapter plates on here
200+ ALL MOTOR LS VTEC
is a a20 trans gona be able to hold a b20
idk i blew one in a carbed a20 lol
just dont fell right to me lol
but they are a dime a dozen so who cares
now my other question is clearance
the stock motor trans setup buts the trans like almost right at the fender well how much bangin you gona have to do to get it to fit with an adapter
the adapter plate will only be 1/2" thick. plenty of room for that. plus for us guys with no trans and its not like b2k5's are just laying around waiting to be bought, we have to be crafty. hey the H to B kit started as and idea as well and now it sells for $1000+.
P.S.
another option is the d-series trans. its almost exactly the same. take a look.
if i can make it fit ill just have to do a hydro conversion to make it work and get an electronic speedo

Ive been boostin my a20 trans for awhile now LOL....she not sounding to great...what you expect when a i bought it for 100 at a jy with 150,000 miles
200+ ALL MOTOR LS VTEC
i had a ZC gearbox bolted to a b20 dogily. the clutch spline lined up and one of the upper bolts. im sure u can be made to work
so thats 1 bolt in the entire transmission holding it together? Thats super dogily
The funny thing is he has access to B20A's LOL were not even that desperate or atleast im not.
nah i would never run it like that it would probably still be off balance i was just saying 1 bolt lined up lol
i think the point being made here is it may be less design issues making the adapter fit the B20a accord engine to a D series tranny??
who was it before that was working on one of these, SQ?
im not really desparate either, I would leave the auto tx on mine anyway since I have future plans on a b series swap in a different 3rd gen
