Bumper Lights

Isnt the current parrelel? Like red on red black on black to what ever light you want to add on to.

ummm idk...but i just cut the green wire on the bumper light and ran it to the red on the steady on side marker light everything works just did it but i have hyper status blinker ONLY on the sidemarker so idk...just for now see how it goes

i really do belive that you need to add a relay for tha type of setup were its stedy on then flashes on/off for a blinker.

**edit** you could also tap into the side marker blinker for both positive and negitive (dont know the colors) since the side maker blinker is steady on and blinks when activated

I try tapping into the one that is parking/singal but it stays off and dont do nothing....so the parking light the first one is always on so i tapped into that one works...FUCK THIS SUCKS lol..if i had a 88 bumper it would work...but i got custom paint so that blows..lol....so idk i prolly use a dremel an get at it and install the duel fittment....works best and easy i guess....i just dont know how to make the bumper light to singal/parking to work right...righ now they all work as in parking lights but when i hit blinker i get the hyper mode lol on only the one light that blinks on side maker....

did you tap into the correct one on the signal part of the side marker? do your signal side markers work? it can be done man just gotta go at it slowly, i wish i had a 86-87 style setup infront of me to work one out

the 88-89 duel setup is easy though if you dont mind makeing a custom base for it

yeah all work...i was messing with them for a hour....Red and black wires is the parking ONLY on the side market which is th front one...the secound one with the orange lenses is green and black wires i had a test light and green was positive and the black was ground same as following for the parking....SO idk when i tapped into the green one nothing happen and the light itself turned off and dont blink when i hit the blinker....SO i was like okay so i tryed adding the ground to it to nothign..................SO i went to the parking one which is red and black wires and tapped into the red on worked but then the back turn signal was on so im like okay i had to cut the green wire on the bumper light leaving some to work with and tapped that and worked but now i have hyper mod lol....w/e i guess

oh yeah btw if i can find my 88-9 sockets i modded to fit the 86-7 bumper u can have them for shipping . ill have a look tonight

well got them to come out lol...but im trying to figure out how to get them to blink....its going to happen...i like how the 84 crx si lenses bolt right up and look even better like this

wonder if thoughs would fit the 8687 accord bumper.. they look hella close to the same and then the tailight sockets should plug right in :O

No....they are molded in so you either have to cut and replace em or did what i did just added a light to the housing itself...i got pics on my build thread...i used my city lights off the cheap ebay housing since the just pop off and on....easy looks the same and you have you turn singles also...

yeah i was just reading your update thread, much easyer then haveing to install a new socket when drilling a small hole is easyer on those...i wonder what honda was thinking on those 86-87 designs lol.. looks good man

Thanks....so its simple just got to add a hole...if i had a 88/89 bumper would be easy since the socket comes out itself...i was like wtf ey lol...but all in all looks good i hate the blue so im going to get xenon lights would look bright and white
