    Hey guys,

Any perference regarding brake bleeding kits, or will the usual hand-vacuum setup be sufficient?

    Thanks!

So since two of you say you use these, I'll believe it can be done. When I tried it however, I got lots of bubbles and no fluid. WTF?

have to make sure you have a tight seal around the bleeder screw

Find a friend. Works every time.

    Speedbleeders are handy though.

    Re: Brake bleeder kits?

when im alone with no one to help me bleed i get a water bottle and some vaccum hose. pop a hole in the top of the water bottle and stick the hose in the hole and then fill the water bottle with brake fluid. making sure the hose is in the brake fluid then i take the other side of the hose and put it over top of the bleed screw and crack the screw lose then pump away. what happens is it instead of sucking in air it sucks in new fluid till your old stinky fluid comes out.

    hope it makes sense :p

    thanks mkymonkey

That's how I always bleed brakes anyway, even with two people. Always have a hose into fluid to make sure no air gets back into the system.
