Complete OBD 1 Conversion Harnesses

Finally, a complete obd1 wiring solution for our accords! Thanks to the persistence of several of the members on here, some really neat stuff is becoming available. What better to top it off with?

All connections are crimped, soldered and sealed at the connector for ultimate reliability. New automotive wire is used in all runs, beautifully loomed and taped. Designed to be fully plug and play and easily removable.

You will also need a obd1 ECU, distributor and adaptor plate.

86-89 Accord obd0 - obd1 ECU jumper $100
Includes connector for extension harness. With vtec connector add $7.

ECU extension harness $70
Connects to ecu jumper to run extra wires to the engine bay. Includes vtec.

A20A3 obd1 add on engine harness $120
Plugs into ecu extension harness. Connects to additional sensors, obd0 distributor plug, and stock coil to allow you to run obd1. Includes ELD and mounting bracket. O2 front placement.

86-89 Accord obd0 - obd1 distributor wiring adaptor $65
Perfect for those inclined to run all the extra wiring themselves. Includes weatherproof crimps and wiring to the stock coil.







I will also entertain the idea of modifying your stock engine harness to your specs for obd1 and/or B series motors. ECU jumper and extension harness will remain the same as the A20 for these. PM me with details for a price.

Yes, shielded wire was used for the o2 and crank position sensor wires.

good job on the collage that's pretty much what i was thinking...

and as for the quality of this product it is A+ top notch... all new wires on the sub harnesses with perfect seals on every plug. definitely the easiest solution to the wiring problem!

so if i just wanted to go obd1 with the a20, all i would need for the ecu is this "86-89 Accord obd0 - obd1 ECU jumper $100" and none of the other stuff? or would i still need to run wires for the o2 sensor?

^^you would need all those parts unless you want to make some of the wires yourself. You usually wont need every single wire unless you swap in a vtec engine with stock ecu.

you would need all of the pieces here for the closest plug-n-play application you're going to get... otherwise you need to do a lot more than just an o2 sensor...

couple this with the plate and you have a full setup and it's as simple as bolting and plugging.

i was just talking about the stuff in this thread. I know about the dizzy and all that jazz.

For plug and play you will need the ecu jumper, extension harness, and engine harness.

The distributor adaptor and ecu jumper can be purchased separately, if you want to run your own wires.

^^ the labor involved in doing wiring is very time consuming. i kno. price isnt too bad. how long does it take to make each one?

4-5 hrs for the engine harness, 3-4 hrs for the ECU jumper, and another 2-3 for the extension harness. Then there's the gathering, depining and cleaning of the stock connectors... I have $60-$70 in wire alone for each complete setup, about 3 rolls of $3.80 Super33 tape, loom, heat shrinks, and solder... I've said $290 for the complete setup from the very beginning, I can't justify doing it for less.

so whats the extension do... i really need is to run dizzy correct? well either way ill have to get those. I see that the extension is for vtak..but im not or ever going to have Vtak lol

Runs the extra wires from under the seat to the strut tower. The add on engine harness connects to the extension harness there, like the stock engine harness connectors.

I can combine the engine and extension into one continuous run, and knock off like $10-$15, but it'll be a week or so for me to build it.

No, you will get a CEL for the O2 without the extra 3 wires, and for the ELD if running anything other than a PR4.

The 2 extra vtec wires could be used for something else... That's why I didn't make them optional for the extension harness. If I am building you a custom harness they can be left out and I can knock off another $5-10. Fan wire is not absolutely necessary, but allows the option of running an integra performance radiator or other rads without a fan switch, another $5... Basically let me know what you want. If you want just a harness with the distributor and O2 wires, I can do.

Personally, I like to keep all my options open, and this is why I made these deluxe. If people want a scaled down version, I'll build it for a reduced price. I'm not going to go below $200 for the complete setup though.

for the amount of work involved i would definitely pay this... especially since i've seen these first hand and have had a hand in the gathering process... so time consuming. i've also had experience just retaping and looming and soldering new connectors onto an engine harness and i really wouldn't mind paying extra money to have it done for me.

lol just to do my mini tuck i used over 100ft of wire, and it took me 2 3hour nights to get the wires run. I didnt even de-pin them lol. Just cut stripped, then resoldered.

What would it cost me to just get all the connectors? I would really prefer to do it myself, but ive got no clue where to get the connectors. Those harnesses look amazing though!

All the connectors? How do you want them, wire leads or depinned? Are you going to need them for the ecu jumper as well?

I am planing to do an engine tuck on the A20 with a B18 manifold at some point... Should look sick! Got to finish building the motor first though...
