I like it. Pretty badass lookin, even with the big wheels because they're clean and tucked. The exterior gauges are cool, can't say I'm a big fan of the metal floor though. And the painted grille is a bit odd, but not bad I don't think. Overall, that's a sweet car! It would be fun to spank the shit out of other people in a 1g Accord! I do wish there were bigger pics.

    yo yo yo WADDUP

    we ballin'

lush car but sounds like the owner is prone to making "awesome" descisions - WTF gold and maroon VINYL interior?

also making out that the 1 gee was an awful slow crappy car that is now totally great because its got VTAX and is dumped and has a sub is about par for fast fours - NEXT MONTH: XOTIK the purple '96 lancer glx with subz and naws and gullwing doors. sik

still want scans now though >:E

    Re: Fastfours CRX powered Accord

Will see what I can do to clean up & post my original scans.

For American readers it should be borne in mind that Australia only ever got the 2nd & 3rd gen CRX with D16 DOHC & B16 VTEC engines respectively as sporting MR2 competitors rather that economical runabouts.

But still "VTEC" components in '91 D16 DOHC : not terribly likely.
& as mentioned they certainly dismissed the original Accord without knowing it or comparing it to its competition: it wasn't cheap or nasty like some of its "competition"

I agree on interior - can't stand it.
At least the body wasn't interfered with aside from '79-81 frt. guards & grille.
Would accept wheels too since they do fit nicely if absurdly & aren't hideous ... certainly demand attention!

Wonder where it is now since this was published in '98 or something...

Nice. Looks much better than the small magazine pics. Love the color, provided its some shade of nice orange. Hard to say from the pics.

You can't help but to nitpick the small details don't ya?

Anybody else think those seats look like hot dogs from the color pattern?

Either way that is a sweet car.
