Ok guys, so I don't have 9 million pics like some others do, and I've had this car for 10 years now, and have built it, broken it down, and rebuilt it a few times, but that was all with sound system, and looks. Now it's time to lift the hood and really get this underway.
So here's some pics from last summer fall when I started tearing it down, to where it is now. Followed by some pics of the plans for it.
Yanked the stock carby and manifold. Checking the angle for production of a proper manifold:
Mock-up for the new induction:
Mock-up done, now it's time to start tearing it all apart:
Cat-power FTW!
Just a reminder of what the front end use to look like with the custom clear corners and custom clear bumper lenses:
Re-assembly of the P&P'd head I bought off Messy:
New production manny is now available for the A20's with the proper angle:
Vacuum Setup I threw together. This is just to show what it's all about:
I had a problem with the d/s front lower ball-joint, so I had to cut the tip of the bolt off and was not able to get the nut back on so I can lower the knuckle into the LCA and get a wheel/tire on it. This past Monday night I attacked the bad cut with a file and was able to thread the nut on and get the wheel/tire on, so now (after 6+ months) I can take it off the jack-stands and roll it out into the driveway to keep working on it instead of in the cramped garage.
Plenty more to come little by little.
