Let's say you have $1500 to put into your motor. No turbo/supercharger, no nitrous, no swaps. All bolt ons, what do you buy? Please list the object, the price, and a picture if you can.

ok you have 2000 civic.
this is what i would have done if i had civic.
http://www.hondatuningmagazine.com/f...ht_fuelsystem/
AEM cold air intake.
DC sports headers and cat back.
MSD ignition.
if you still have money left try getting new cam and cam gears for more tunning.
this is basic stuff you can do.
there is not much available for your engine.
you can save money and get this http://www.jacksonracing.com/pages/sprchrgrhnd.html
but you still have to add all the above before supercharging.
the other thing you can drop insted of supercharging is NOS.
it is fast horse power but the problem i don't like about it is that you won't be able to use it every second like supercharger.
or you can do both, supercharge and dry NOS.
Alex.
Thanx for all the help, but I'm talking about stuff for the accord.Originally posted by shepherd79

And about the nitrous, that's already taken care of for my car
my girl doesn't want anything big done to her accord, no nitrous, no superchargers/turbos. Just little bolt ons.

"Four wheels, four doors, and no frills."
what kind of welfare nitrous system is $500? spend more to do it right. and if she just wants it as an everyday street car, i would skip the nitrous and go for more reliable things like the cam, flywheel, exhaust and stuff. and some springs, only like 1 1/2" or 2" and then see what you have left after camber correction.Originally posted by 1989se-i

No one listens....
Anyways... DUAL DCOE's for sure.
a cam regrind or Hard weld to match.
Header, 2.25 - 2.5 cat back, and a stock looking muffler for that sleeper look.

There are Weber suggestions but his sig says its an LXi.....
Now:
-1988 Honda Prelude custom
-1988 Honda Accord (to be fixed and sold)
Soon:
-some big 4x4 truck
-91 Acura NSX

all you need is a pressure regulator and the custom manifold... it's almost exactly the same as doing the weber conversion on a LX/DX... just that they won't need the pressure regulator.
