RACK AND PINION , well i was just wondering if there is a performance rack or is there only the OEM replacement part? i just wanted to know cause i plan to replace it because there is a leak on the passenger side boot and i dont want 2 buy power streering fuild every other day so if anyone can plz help me out, its a 89 LX 5 speed with power streering

No aftermarket racks, but you can get a manual one from a 2G (I think?) Prelude. Not any faster, but feels better.

Don't you need to lengthen the tie rod ends for that? I'd just harvest a rack from the wrecking yard. Find one that isn't covered with oil and you'll be golden.

stock replacement will do...i heard its a bitch to do...you can always convert it to a manual rack just pack it with grease
