Any I have to redo my PCV system....I just dont understand why its doing this...Like 89turboed said...I need to redo my pcv system...and there for coming out of the v/c instead of the pcv system itself on boost...cuz i dont lose shit for oil in town or i hit full boost in town...ONLY in the mountains when im always on boost....IM just like wtf

Let me know....i just want to make sure...

I'm not sure... Could be bad valve seats or something too.

    Re: What you guys Think?

If your valve stem seals are bad, it will smoke like crazy, especially since on boost since there is so much extra crankcase pressure, it will force oil past the seals into the intake manifold. mine was smoking bad because all my exaust seals had turned to charcol, replaced them and problem fixed.

    Re: What you guys Think?

Damn dude. That's some serious not so good noise coming out of that engine bay. I'm not sure what all the clattering valve train type noise is, but it's definitely not the sound of a happy Honda engine. Your exhaust pipe does seem to have a lot of black soot in it so I'd be leaning toward rings. Of course, I'd want to see some compression test results before saying that definitively. You're boosted, so if it were rings, I'd think you'd have a lot of blowby into the crankcase. That could be why you're having trouble with the PCV system. It could also explain why oil is blowing out all over the wheel well when you push it. What does your oil look like when you change it? That would tell you a lot. If it's all black and gunky then that would also indicate a lot of blowby.

I know everybody on here wants a race car, but race cars get rebuilt after every race. If you want to go modding it up, you're kinda signing up for a maintenance schedule like that. If memory serves, you like to go to the track a lot, so it might be time for a build...

Not sure if that helps, but hope it does.

Thats my tranny making that sound ...my valve train is okay i as far as i know..every since i did the cam..compression test i had one low one and was 60 but im going to redo it again since i have other tester...its not a push and hold sytle....It only does it when im going up hills...but around town or w/e its good idk...Ill replace the rings no biggie...ill have to do another test sunday....I change the oil every 2,000 and its light brown still and clean....no mucky crap or w/e i always use mobli 1 and wix filters....MY tranny sounds like crap i know thats what makes you think it sounds funny...Im going to do a mild build for now im going to do some heavy work on the other block

I think he was using a push on tester, you need a screw in kind to get an accurate reading. push on testers are for lawnmowers, weedeaters, and civics. low compression isn't always the rings eithier can be caused by a bad head gasket or a burned valve also.

    Re: What you guys Think?

the reason for the check ball and a metal valve,is in case of an intake manifold backfire, it doesn't blow into the pcv system and into the oil pan, lighting oil vapors and fuel vapors
