I have to agree with that. IMO, the simple logo we had before (animated or static) was better. I like the idea of this one, but I think it clutters up the otherwise simple logo.

Yes it can be used in threads and forums as well, but I thought it would take up too much space for people without widescreen monitors. On the main page, there's a lot of empty space in the forum descriptions that can be sacrificed for the sidebar.

Yes, but probably no animated logos. I'm just not that talented, and nobody submitted anything when we asked for logo ideas over a month ago.

Yes we can do flash. It just has to match the current color schemes and current slogan.
