tranny problem???

when i drive i cant downshift to the gear unless im under a certain speed for example if im goin 20mph i cant downshift from 2 to 1. the car is a manual and i do hold the clutch all the way but the stick wont move smoothly to the gear unless im under the speed. cant go to 4th under 35 3rd unless im under 30 2nd under 20 and 1st under 10. is this normal or is there something wrong? if there is something wrong how do i fix it?

sounds like your car is begging you to be easier on it

sounds like a typical honda first gear. you shouldn't down shift to 1st its only for getting going... and if ur other gears do that its probably worn syncros so just double clutch it when needed
