Glad to hear you got the car back, and boots on the job too. I hope you pay off everything first! Then your free to do your rebuild...

we have to at least leave the grounds to modify anything. They check the gas cap for a tight seal and the sniffer test on the dyno. if I could get a diesel to pass with a2a03 emmisions I could rock that in my car and they wont care. Its more for the fee than the emissions I think. We only have certain counties that test anyways. If I live 5 miles further north i would have to get any emissions testing done. Boy that would be nice.
anyone know where to get the state limits on their tests? I want to know what the legal limit for CO, hydrocarbons, etc are so I can test & tune her before I bring it to get tested so I know if I'll pass or not.

YaY to the good parts of the news, home sweet home
nope we have to get the diesels to pass as well. There limits are just a little higher
Glad to hear things have worked out somewhat for the time being. Gotta love when family members are looking out for you and can help out. And congrats on the new job, hopefully it goes well.

maybe i'll get my bits one day soon
just wait til you get your first three piece truck split rim.
if it aint just right when you blow them up, they go BANG and people lose body parts.
but OSH says you have to blow tires up in a cage so you should be fine if you have one.
we just used to put them under the 4 post hoist and stand on the hoist to stay out the way.
it maybe a joe job, but it's a job none the less and it'll get you off the dole
