    any generic flexpipe will work.

The shop will just cut and weld the new one.

ahhhhhhh I see. The place I called was canadian tire. The part went all the way from the manifold to the catalyst. It only makes sense that if its just the flexpipe, which it is, that you can put any flexpipe roughly the same size in by welding.

Majestic Honda is like 200bucks US just for that part as well. Maybe I'll try another shop and see if they can do a 'hack' job instead of replacing the whole factory part.

    Thanks guys & Gals!!

I just called a cheapo muffler place and they said that its cheaper to buy the original part cuz it'll be 190 for the part and 215 installed.

If they weld another one in, it'll be 150 alone for labour and wouldn't make sense cuz its better to replace it with the original part for that much money.

Maybe I can find a buddy that can weld and he can do the welding labour cheaper............

But 215 installed sound a little more reasonable.

What does the flex pipe do. Mine broke where it was welded to the cat. So I clamped it down. Would the hurt any thing?

The flex pipe just allows a part of the downpipe to flex when the engine moves a bit. I paid $75 CAD to have a universal type installed at Midas four years ago.
