    B Series Pistons and Rods

Ok so on the search for rebuild parts I found talk of B series pistons and rods in our blocks. i figured at the very least that would be better than stock for boost, so whats the deal with them, I know probably needs to be overbored to fit but what else has to be done, and what exactly are the parts and part #s.

b series rods fit no problem, but its hard to say on pistons, i cant remember which b motor has a similar bore. just look for one with an 83mm bore, which is .30 over. i dont think theres a b motor with the exact same bore. you cant use b series rods without custom or b series pistons

Good deal should I shoot for oem or other pieces or some custom ones maybe? 83mm is .30 over huh thats simple enough, will the rods work with our wristpins and crank?

Damn well i guess nevermind lol after doing some more reading there is no way i can afford b18 rods and pistons....by the time I got them I could already have forged a20 ones for about the same price prob.

too much mucking around with valve pockets you'd have to get the B series pistons with blank crowns and have your reliefs custom machined into the blanks, so you might as well just ahve them custom made would be as cheap.
