I picked up a dark red on red 89 Accord lx sedan (carbed) in the winter, I had an accident driving homeHit a bear cub and did some damage, overheated the motor to the point of warping the head and cam... so after some body work and a fresh top of motor I was back on the road...
I've just started to slowly put some parts on it so I thought I would introdue myself.. no pics at the moment but these are the mods up to date...
K&N replacement air filter, no OEM availible
Removed plastic air hose to carb
LX-I 14" aluminum wheels from an 89, 195/60/14's
Tinted side markers and headlight eyebrows
Cleared out the bumper lenses
Suction cup roof basket
Cd player and Clarion speakers
Sirius satellite radio
Parts I need to replace
Hood, mine is still bent from the accident, I'm letting the replacement one have a rust finish
Mods to come:
Drop springs or coilovers
Rusty hood
Paint grille to match eyebrows and side markers
Brighter headlights
Remove gold pinstripe
