and i got towed by a SS blazer. that sucker has some TQ. pulled the car like it wasnt even hooked up.

ehh i think ones ground to the fan and the other is the 2step hook up. only gets power for a few seconds so i dont give a shit bout that one lol.

so problems continue. fixed the brake line, a week and a half later, tranny or clutch decides to shit on me. trying to get someone to help me pull the tranny atm. im hoping its the clutch. would be the cheapest solution.

well finally pulled the tranny, havent gotten the clutch off, Got done at 3am lastnight, and had school allday, so as SOON as i wake up im gonna try and pull that bad boy off and hope for the best.

umm. you sure you used to alingment tool they gave you. Seems like it was off a bit causing it to rub the spring thus cause epic fail...or you didnt tighen to bolts down proper.

sooo pulled the flywheel bolts off and realized they were all cross threaded by whoever worked on it last and bolts are no good.. hoping i can get some bolts from the jy tomorrow and the threads in the crank arnt bad..
if i cant get it to work, Its getting parked till i get some $$ saved up for a rebuild.

and the flywheel is resurfaced so i just need bolts :/

decided im selling the rx7 and purchasing a motorcycle as a all time back up. lol

get new bolts and chase the threads in the crank out with a tap, unless they were really bad you should be ok. IF you are using used bolts make sure they are MT bolts, they are much different than AT bolts. Also, that clutch will be marginal if you start making big power

marginal? how much power is that? lol i was hoping it would be good up to my one day 350 goal.

and car is gonna be down for a longer time then i thought. Was trying to put the tranny back in my friend was like umm u have a crack.. pull it back it, found 2 cracks. both where the lil bolts near the 5th gear are, 3-4inches long, like 2-4mm wide... it was SOOOOOO frustrating. I'm really gonna trade the rx7, save some money up and rebuild the FUCK outta the 3gee.

holy shit! How did you crack the tranny case like that? I had a tranny case crack where the bottom trans mount bolts in, but i think that was due to bad motor mounts and excessive movement/stress on it.
