    Re: Tdurr's Turbo Thread!

check the wiring on the clutch switch, (I am not sure if it is a switched hot or switched ground. I did a 5 speed swap and mine is not wired up yada yada yada)

if it is a switched hot meaning that one wire is hot the other is only hot when the pedal is depressed just tap the orange wire from you'r box to the switched side.

if it is a switched ground you will need a 5 pin relay to convert it to a switched hot.

    not a big deal....
    the terminals will be numbered,85-86-87-87a-30

term 30 and term 85 will be +12 volts(switched by the key)
term 86 will be -12 volts from the switched side of the clutch switch.
term 87 will wire to the orange wire on you'r btm
term 87a will not be used.

tune it in to where you launch hard but you dont spin the tires. If it bog's give it a few more rpms. If you spin the tires remove a few rpms.ect.....
mine is set at 4800rpms, but that is tuned for slicks not street tires.

    Re: Tdurr's Turbo Thread!

sure sir, you'll need a relay because the switched wire on the e brake is grounded.
it will be more of a pita to wire up but we can handle that.

term 30 and term 85 will be +12 volts(switched by the key)
term 86 will be -12 volts from the ebrake wire.(switch)
term 87 will wire to the orange wire on you'r btm

    Re: Tdurr's Turbo Thread!

I belive its hot, yet you said nothing was pluged in to it....

so run a switched hot wire to one side and run the other side to the btm.
