difference between rockers for A20A1/2 and A20A3/4 ?

Hi everybody,

I've come here from prelude power I think you guys might be able to help me on this.

I need to buy new rockers, and Honda Australia has told me there are different rockers for the A20A1/2 VS the A20A3/4. They have different part numbers and the A1/2s are twice as expensive as the A3/4s ? Are they different to A18 rockers?

Does anybody know what the difference is? If in fact they are different... I thought they were all the same -- at least superficially.

Would it matter what ones I was to use in an ET/A18 rebuild?

Come on guys, somebody has to know whether the carb vs FI rockers are different in A20s!

I don't see any reason that they couldn't be interchanged. The head castings are the same, either cam can be run on either head. So I believe that the rockers are interchangable as well. I can not recall if I used the A3 or the A1 rockers on mine though.

Thanks very much, i called up honda again, and it turns out they are the seem afterall - the fuckronaut I originally spoke to gave me the rockers for the 3rd gen prelude by accident, hence claiming they were different and double the price...

lol i could have told u they were the same if i saw this thread from the get go. Next time, go to hondapartsconnection.com and look up part #'s to see if they are the same. If they are then ur good to go.
