so you are saying that they are the same,or different?
i am stumped. the first portion of the original sticky (89 sedan) was missing the tps and rpm wires. i dont know what happend, i must have just not have typed them in.
the second portion(or the pic) was written down as i removed the safc from the 88 coupe.
they were noticeably different.
the only other thing i can think of is the sedan was originally an automatic.
so, what i have in post #32 matches what you have.
i know it worked well in my car.

Yeah post #32 is good. I got my orange/blue hooked up now and the rpms are pretty much perfect match to the tach. As far as I know anyway Mine are the exact same colors....so maybe 86 lxis and 88-89 are the same.

Glad you got it sorted out.
So what's a good SAFC to invest in?
Ummm...weird reason beening i used 89t wiring diagram and it wasnt close to the wires on the ecu...thats way back then thou...so thats why i asked for a pinout and form there it was cake....

I don't think you read my post.
apexi is the only company that makes AFC. There are like 3-4 types, A SAFC, SAFC2, VAFC, and Super VAFC or something stupid.
Safc is the first and simplest works great with OBD0 Cars cuz no useless features.
around $80-130
SAFC2 is like the first but slimmer and with more features(cant use on obd0 cars) $100-150
VAFC is a Vtec Air Flow controller. We dont have vtec lol
Dono the price.
last one is just dumb.
