1989 4dr EX-i

So i went to that garage and took a bunch of pics of the accord. It turns out it has a 86/87 hood..Its still as ugly as ever hahaha...


So, I got pics of the back bumper hangin off... I dont know whats going on back there, but it feels like the metal part holding the bumper is off somehow. Its prety unpleasant.


The interior is nice!


But the engine bay looks like hell..

Air vents?! Awesome! I didnt know accords had these..

The only bad rust on the right side. It dosnt go into the wheel-well though, thankfully.

The trunk floor is clean
No rust on ither side

One spot of rust on the hood

Gehtto Hood Release. Grab the whole thing and pull. No risk of breaking the plastic handle that way =D lol

What do you guys think? Its not perfect, but itll be dirrt cheap. Prolly scrap price.

How much is dirt cheap? (That thing should be 100$)

And if it runs like the one you have, and you have time, money, patience, etc, then it may be worth it lol..

Im not sure how much, but the guy said as little as possible.

Also, bear in mind i have another accord. This one is in over-all better shape, though. The wheel-wells, and under-side and such are better on this one then my other one, by far.
I have the engine in mine, too. Anything that needs to be done can be done.

Honestly, this thing looks like most of the other 3Gs in Quebec : rust eaten.

Clean hatch, minimal rust.
Timing belt was done, new exhaust and new balljoints.

It may be 1000 bucks but you'll end up dumping 3times that in the EX-i and it won't look half decent. There is an insane amount of rust in this car. front wheel well is rotten and the bumper support too. The windshield is cracked because the pinchweld has rusted through and bubbled.

The hatch is carbed but that can always be converted in the future.

Well if its that damn bad, maybe we can part this one? Instead of it going to scrap?

The hatch is auto and carbed. Why are all the hatches around here freakin auto?! lol...
So if i get this one, we gotta change the transmission, and make it fuel injected.. Well ill see if i can go see the thing.

Maybe i should take pics of that accord where its clean? I took only the bad spots heh. The rocker panels are good, the floor is fine except for one soft spot. Basically the rear fenders and bumper, and one spot on the floor need work. Is the front wheel-well realy that bad? Its hella better then mine is.. Shit man, Quebec sucks lol

But its all the way freakin' near Quebec City.

Called the man, he said someone's alredy gunna come look at it tomorow. I gotta call back tomorow. If it aint sold tomorow afternoon, then ill make him an offer. If he accepts, then i gotta get mah ass over there ...some how. Shit.

Freakin thing's sold. Owner sent me an email sayin' it was sold, instead of an email with the pics i wanted... sold for 'tween 1200 and 1400$.. Damn man, i cant catch a break.

yeah keep looking man but i would get that one as a parts car if its cheap enough take all the good parts off and rebuild the engine for a a better shell

I alredy got a bad shell outside, waiting for me to drive it. Though, basically its me or scrap. Anyone in QC would benifit from the car. If i can get it running for cheap, itll be good too. Just so its not stuck infront of my house lookin like that lol.

Damn, i want a clean accord...
