I have a spare transmission from an 88 accord lx 5 speed. i was wondering if anyone knows if this transmission will fit on an 86 prelude 2.0si. i still have the extra transmission from my parts car after doing a carb to efi swap, and theres a prelude si down the street for sale for $300 that needs a tranny. if anyone can help me out ide really appreciate it. thanks
if the lude is a a20 motor then yes

yeah i did some more research last night and realized it wont work. but hell, $300 bucks might just be worth the engine. I jumped it the other day and it sounds good. Maybe I'll do a swap
lol i woudl just go to the jy and get a tranny for the lude its gona be a fuck of alot of work for not a hole lot of performance
as a matter of fact i would swap out the b20 and put lie a h in there lol
it depends on the body of the car...if you think you can fix it and then turn around and sell it for more money
