    What way for intake?

I have had two setups. i havent tested the second but the first sounds great and feels great.
Which one do you think is the best/more efficient?

    [1]

Gets Top Air from fans thats cooler?

    [2]

Gets Bottom Air from underneath of car that's cooler?

It looks like there in the same exact spot just faced down, but [2] sits way lower than [1]

Realistically, there's probably almost no difference between the two. They're both buried in the engine, so they'll both get equally hot air. The second might be a percent of a percent better. If you're really serious about it, you could go get a digital thermometer and test them both out.

i would say #1 is better cuz the filter in #2 is pretty much sitting on top of the transmission.

Yup you need a real CAI. Those are both going to just suck hot air and kill any performance.

Does AEM make a CAI that will fit on the 3g? Or will one for a teg or civic fit right on there? i can only seem to find the Weapon-R short rams... Will a short ram give me a little extra power because its sucking in more air even though its warm as opposed to stock?

Also... i was wondering if any of you have sent your EC into Jet to have that chip soldered in? Is it worth it?

And last but not least... I (dont necessarily want to but its all i can find/ know about) to buy header and the monza exhaust from pacesetter. Is pacesetter my only option for buying a header/ exhaust ? i cant find a dc header anywhere... and im mechanically retarded.

    Re: What way for intake?

get a civic or accord one that is in like 3 peices and u can make it work. Or u can get a 4thgen accord one. I had one on my car, had to cut like 5 inches off one side and other then that it fit great.
