Fuel Filter

I NEED TO KNOW WHERE THE FUEL FILTER IS ON AN 89 LXI 4 DOOR THANKS

behind the rear drivers side tire....remove it and then you should be able to see it ...theres probably a cover over it still...

there also might be a secondary one....if there is on you car then its in the engine bay...right near the brake booster....im not sure if the fuel injected models have one there or not....Someone else will know.

On my 89 LXi sedan it's mounted on the firewall on the passenger side about a foot down from the hood. Do you already know how to change it?

Yes, definitely passenger side on fire wall. Sits in a bracket assembly with two high pressure hoses bolted to the top of it.

Oh so iguess that the FI.s are differnt than the carbed??

Yeah, you carb guys have an extra filter. And ours is under much higher pressure so it's design is a lot different.
