if it's on the front i'm sure someone has a dead body they can cut a section out of. thats the best way to fix it, it just gets cut bigger then trimmed on the car it goes on.

if it's an area that can be cut out, why not cut it from a junked car,it's a lot cheaper

Just ordered both rear quarters last week; they only had one side in stock but they can still order everything else. Prices seemed reasonable, so you may want to call and see what they can do for you.

No that site doesn't have the part i need. It's the part the back bumper attaches to in the wheel well.Where the black plastic part slides into the bumper. All the ones i have found are rusted away there.

The inner fender and floor pan extension on the car pictured is fucked. Better get good at cutting and welding.

You are gonna pay at least 8K CDN for all the welding and bodywork that car needs.

    Re: body work question

what kind of welder are you using? i use an mig welder in the lowest heat possible, it helps to use wet cardboard about an inch away from the weld to prvent distortion. I butt weld the panels( the patch is cutted exactly to shape) But over lapping it wont hurt much, Brazing is easier than with mig, but mig turns out stronger. Good luck with your proyect.

    Re: body work question

I use a Millermatic 135 with .023 ER70-S6 wire and some sort of tri-mix gas. I also butt weld my panels, and run the machine at about 7.5-8 on the voltage, and the wire at about 3-5. I usually burn each tack into the tack behind it, alternating positions. There's really nothing you can do about the distortion, the weld goes on liquid, solidifies, and shrinks as it cools. This pulls the panel tighter than it originally was, and must be stretched back out to shape. I usually hammer and dolly the weld flat until the panel returns to shape, sometimes the weld becomes work hardened by this, and must be annealed with a torch before you can continue to work it.

    Re: body work question

I use my brother's welder,It's a lincoln mig-pac 100.No gas,it's an older welder.I always clean the metal good and even grind a spot for a ground. But sometime the weld holds and sometimes it doesn't.Have to shape the metal by hand and with a homemade metal brake made out of two pieces of angle.
