    question about a broken timing belt

    guy has an 86 accord lx for 500 bucks but it says the timing jumped and he as a new belt so im assuming the worst....how much is to replace valves and what not? I've never done it....don't know how manym iles is on it, waiting for a reply email or phone call.....

    just go to a jy and buy a head, or someone here might have a spare going cheap.

    i would not worrie about it too much.
    there is a 95% chance its fine.

    yeah my first car had a broken timing belt and i put it on when i was 15 andit ran fine...just wanting to make sure...none of the junk yards around here seem to have any 3 gees. its depressing...i see a bunch on the road still and my wife gets annoyed cause I'll yell out 3GEE! and point everytime lol.
