    To my surprise

Well, I got tired of the Bilstein shocks in the rear of the car making clanky noises every time I go over a bump, so I changed them today. Used some KYB cheap stuff, but hey, it works. The point of this post is what I found most interesting when I replaced them...the springs are Neuspeed! I had no friggin idea what was on the car since I didn't originally put them on. But I had to flip one of the springs since the goof before me installed it upside-down, and thats when I saw the Neuspeed logo. I forget the part number on them, but they're black. Is that Sport? Street? Race? I forget.

Hey do you still have the old bilsteins? I need a pair of blown struts to use to find if other struts can be used for our car's. Can you pm me if you can let me have them instead of throwing them away in the garbage. I'll pay for shipping to me.

the neuspeed's are sports, thank god they are not the race one's. Those things are HECKA! stiff. For such a mild spring rate I can see why the GR-2's would work, however for stiffer springs I'd worry about thier performance in the rear, I'd think the tokico's would be a better choice for the other lowering springs.
The neuspeed's are the softest lowering springs made for our cars.

Jim: didn't you say that the H&Rs have the same/similar spring rates as the Neuspeed springs? Or am i completely off?

Yes your right. But since I could never get H&R to give me a number, I don't talk about it at every chance to do so. When I told the H&R tech that I and a Bilstein tech (Jack) had figured together that the neuspeed springs and the H&R's had the same spring rates and why we felt that way, the H&R tech agreed with us. So basically the H&R tech agreed with me, but couldn't tell me the exact number's for their springs, claimed they did not have that info.
