CAH, why dont you just find a Lude at local JY and rip out its H22 or H23 block and swap it.. will be much less trouble, and you will have more potential in it.

As far as credit goes, I had one time a problem, but never again.. I say stay with cash, and save for all you needs rather to pay interest on cradit. you loose like 15% of your year income on those fees alone.. F...dat!!

Because finding a Prelude that hasn't already had the h22 yanked is impossible... lol And my local junkyard doesn't have any preludes newer then 85 lol small towns ftl....

I would say f credit cards, but they are nice to fall back on in case of emergencies, but seriously junkyard motor for the win... 150 for a long block at most of the upullit's or picknpull or pull a part... just find a smashed lude and get the motor! DO IT NOW!

I think for now I'm just going to get a JY head rebuild it throw it on so i know this motor is reliable and then save up buy a H22 from hmotorsports and then fully rebuild the H22 that way i know the F in the car will last so i wont have to rush out and swap the H in right away and i can take my time rebuilding it and collecting all the parts for the swap.

oh and no updates on the Accord really, When i went to Ridgecrest today I stoped by my grandmas place and started it up and let it run until it stoped smokeing then shut her down just to burn some of the oil off lol.. must likely it will be sitting for another week or so... still need to get 2 tires for it
