this site can make plenty off of its adds, a website like this costs almost nothing to keep running, its one of the only things i disagree with about this website allways have i dont care if its $1 a month or $100 a month its money that seems to be payed and vanish.

i find it funny that a forum for old 20+ yeah old accords you have to pay to get full use but theres ferrari and lambo forums out there that are fully free full of guys that whipe there ass with money

Well guys... Ive been thinking allot about repairing the rust as its spreading up all over the pass side qp (theres bubbles going all the way to the window now ) and I've been considering weather i should put allot of money in to fixing the body in this and throwing a $500 engine... and the decision i made is not final yet but most likely this will be getting demoted from Project Car to Beater and i will be picking something like this up come summer

I'm in cali land of rust free cars so i shouldn't be worried about doing rust repairs when i can go out and buy another one that's rust free lol... and one with less miles and better body at that.

lol we had one with 200k in 2000, and another one we bought used with 200k in 2005....

if i get a la car id perfer one with higher miles so i know its been drivin in on the freeway more then stuck in traffic just idleing

but yeah im not getting that exact one lol im broke right now i said in summer ill get one... and it will be a 5th gen coupe 5speed

good news, the epic loss of coolant has been from a leak in the lower radiator.. so its not the head gasket... dont know why it smokes whiteish every now and then but dont really care its got 300 something thousend miles on it its aloud to smoke any color it wants ... its still staying in beater status... dont want to fuck with getting expensive rust repairs done ill just grind it off throw some stop rust on it and drive it as is until the engine gives lol...

LOL... and nah not trading the cb its just going in to be the daily beater ... got it cheap... its not worth much... still runs and drives good mind as well drive it until she goes!
unless someone wants to trade me a more fuel economy friendly car for it in = condition lol (ie civic,corolla,accent,caviler,escort,metro)

well yet again i cant bring my self to do it... i cant put this car on beater status i like it to much and have grown attached to it like a family member. i will be fixing it up over the next year and hopefully have the body ready for paint.. and i don't want to here any bs about my body work like what happened last time... i will be taking my time and doing things right this time around. and if my car is not all one color for a while id prefer not to hear any bitching. that is all

I did some rust work today, couldn't find my rust remover pad so i had to make do with 100grit sand paper, i will be sanding it back down and then applying some filler when i get filler lol

doesn't look that bad, at least it looks like someone is trying now instead of just letting it rust away lol


and tomorrow's project will be much easier should be able to have this completely done as i don't think it will need any filler

Sorry to tell you bro...thats not going to last a month if you hit rain. YOU need to get that rust out...you just sprayed over it LOL. i would go back and get at it.....then lay some black rust proof crap then some gray.....but if it helps for a while then good. BUT i tryed that and it didnt hold up for long.

I know this, Hence why i said i was not done yet. I need to buy a new rust remover tool and then completely remove the rust down to bare metal and then fill it in... and then it should last a couple years... however... i did manage to sand down as much rust as i i could with 100grit sand paper... and i didn't take a pic before i painted it lol

im going to try and fix every ding on the car and if it comes out good then ill be painting it ether
