    [Help]Having Engine problems with an 81 accord.

    Well, recently when I started my car, It ran very choppy. whenever i let go of the gas, it would die out instantly, but now that has progressed and passed. I've taken a compression test and my 1st and 2cd cylinders get compression, but my 3rd and 4th do not. I have no idea why it would not get compression and I'm stumped. I would appreciate some help on it. Thanks.

    Sounds like it's blown a head gasket between cylinders 3 and 4. Get any smokey when you run the car?

    it was a blown head gasket between 3 and 4 now i can drive my accord again thanks.

    also, do you guys think it's possible to swap a 350 Boss into my 82 Accord? I have an extra 350 boss that needs heads done and it's complete. Just wondering if I you guys think it's also possible to do that.

    Hell yes, you'll have to probably build a bigger tunnel for the transmission and drive shaft, etc. Damnit I wish I could find the 82 Accord Pro Street drag car that someone built. It's exactly what you would do.

    Yea me too (drive the car, not hippy chix), Even though it may be a ford motor. One of the file names said 377, which is ford I believe. I wasn't even thinking about it being tagged and registered lol, imagine driving that shit on the streets. Pulling up next to rice-boy civics 'n such.
