EMISSIONS CONTROL (help please.)

so i just found out in my state my car(88 accord a20a1) is old enough to classify as a "historic" vehicle (i.e. no inspection and EMISSIONS TESTING) so i was wondering if the car would put out more power without the emissions crap.



if so, how would i go about removing all the componets

if it's FI, then *shrugs* but if it's carb'd then go buy the Weber conversion, and do it. You won't be sorry. Just beware that it takes a little ingenuity and creativity, esp. regarding the linkage.
