1rst Gen Integra compatibility?

I've been wondering a long time about this. Actually, ever since I looked in an 86 integra hatch. Does anyone know how much these cars have in common? All I know is that the interior looked almost identical in layout to my hatch. After that I always look twice at the body, at least for the hatches they seem to share quite a bit. I know they were based upon the civic and I know they were all DOHC and all that. Just wondering if there might be another source of compatible parts out there. Next time you see one check out the interior. I wouldn't be surprised if, at the least, the interior could be swapped out.

nothing would bolt in but you can make stuff bolt in by swaping rails on the seats or drilling holes....for seats i say just go aftermarket...its better than a 20 year old seat

Eh, it might look pretty similar, but I'm gonna say that it's not. Maybe the seats have a similar rail layout and probably some similar dimensions, but I don't think that anything will just bolt up. I'm sure the similar dimensions would make the interior bits easier to swap across, but you'll probably need different brackets for the dash, and some serious wire hacking to make all the controls work. Also, the vent routing will be different, I doubt the Integra's dash will mate up with the Accord heater box. But I'm sure if you're creative, you can figure out a way.

I have to agree. Integras share much more with the Civics on which they are based than Accords. The cool thing for us however is that lots of Prelude parts will swap over.

first gen teg is just an accord wanna be. i spent a of of time at a junkyard looking at both one next to the other and I didn't see anything compatible.

the 1st gen teggy is more like a 3g then anything else imo its also the best looking integra
