Can you elaborate on why that is at all? My whole driver side is about a quarter-inch lower than the passenger. That's been bugging the shit out of me since I lowered it. I'm honestly prepared to pay for adjustable coilovers just to get rid of that lean.

I think the front/back are level, but the rear wheel arches aren't as round so the tire gets tucked more.

I would prefer that (or better, a front-to-back lean) than the corner lean on my coupe.

Dude, the front of your coupe does more than just lean. It's all fugged up.

I found out why I had a shake in the steering wheel at low speed. Big ass bubble in my tire... Put a wheel that came with the car back on and it drives realllllly nice now. Now I either gotta get another Federal or spend some money and match my rears with a pirelli, then buy another pirelli when I can afford it.

How good are the tires? Are they curbed at all? I hate having rare rims. It always makes me want to keep them. Plus, I'm trying to get an SE-i, those of which have rare rims, too.

They are older tires, and 1 of the Federals was seperated (probably before I bought it) so I need to buy 1 tire to make it fine. The rest are around 60%.

The wheels are curb-free, but they need a good cleaning to get the tree sap off them.

I also got some 16" AMP wheels that I would just about give away cuz the tires are bad and I don't want to try to find lug nuts for them.

I would just use my own lugs. I have those locking ones from Honda.

VERY freaking skinny... I had to cut up a 12-point 15mm socket to get the front 2 off and I lost the socket, so the 2 on the back are still on... lol. The guy only had 1 lug per wheel................

    How far down is Tehachapi?

Best pic I got of them. The tires are bad in the back and my dad wants the front ones. The reason the back ones are bad is because they rubbed on something while going down the road, so if anyone gets these, they may need to be spaced. 1 or a couple (don't remember, I didn't really look) have curb rash, but not real bad.

So what's wrong with that DX? It looks very clean from that pic. ...any chance you want to part some things off it? (sorry for the partial thread-jack)

Re: My 87 on Fat Fives!

Well, I don't really want to start a new thread, but tomorrow I am heading up to Eugene to pick up a Delta 272 cam. Right now my 3g is torquey as hell and I don't know why, but it's pretty damn cool. I was cruising in 5th gear at about 1.9k and pushed it WOT, and it picked up really well. When I got this car, it would hardly pull itself down a hill in 5th gear.

The thing is, I don't know if it's the bowl draining faster than my fuel pump will fill it, or the float is set way too low, but right at 5.8k, it starts to sputter out like it's running out of gas... Crap....

I'm glad I'm typing out loud, cuz that really sounds like a timing issue.

I'm getting excited I'm getting a cam tomorrow with less than 75 miles on it. I guess the guy had so much boost, he cracked his head in half and the head is in a couple peices right now.

$300 for the whole setup minus the Hondata. I really want turbo, but I got laid-off yesterday and I want to save my money for gears for my Sidekick.

haha, I just got in touch with Dave last night via e-mail too. ...so you're the guy snagging the 272. I really want the turbo setup from him too. ...and his tranny. ...just imagine a boosted, dual DCOE, MegaJolted setup.

Anyway, welcome back Bass. Let us know when you get that 272 installed. I'm dying to see how much change you have, and if you'll need to tweak the jetting on the carb.

Re: My 87 on Fat Fives!

I hope I don't need to tweek the carb... The jets I would need are as much as the cam is!! I was interested in the tranny until I heard how much the LSD was that was in it! I can go without a $500 slipper.
