it woulda looked like new if i woulda took more time filling in the little pores in the bondo but that can be fixed by useing high fill primer, and i got color matched paint and sprayed it and looks good

maybe you should type out a how-to and post it here on the board. i know people in the midwest deal with rusty fenders all the time and it would help us a great deal.

The only real way to do it is to take it to a body shop. Bondo generally wont last, and your spray paint job isnt going to last anywhere near the time it would from a professional paint job. It will fade and sometimes chip. Do it right the first time and Fuq taking short cuts! It pays off in the long run.

Yeah....how much did it cost? My ride's starting to rust out like a bitch - it was one helluva winter. Time to crack out the cheque book and drop by the body shop...

I havent had mine touched. Nothing body wise has ever been touched. A secretary whore had it and she took really good care of it except for the big ass hole in the carpet from her heals poking it before I replaced it. I think im one of the few that can say that I have no fender rust what so ever and I feel under there and it feels like bare metal with no jagged chipping stuff . Original paint too!

    bitch. haha.

I had to get 6 almost holes fixed in my floor (rust cleaned off and plates wellded over the holes) and then I had the whole underbody sealed. Cost me $750.

    same with me Nate

My car is original paint as well. Not a spot of rust on her. I'm thinking some old lady had it before me or something. Who knows these days?
