Ok going through my chiltons book, the 73 to 88 honda one, has about every kind of info you could want, found some interesting numbers, which go against a lot of stuff i've heard on here.
86 accord:horsepower 98@5500 rpm
torque:110@3500
compression 9.1.1
86 accord LXI: horsepower 110@5500
torque: 114@4500
compression: 8.1.1
87 accord:horsepower 98@5500
torque: 109@3500
compression:9.1.1
87 accord lxi: horsepower 110@5500
torque: 114@4500 rpm
compression:8.8.1
88 accord : horsepower 98@5500
torque: 109@3500
compression: 9.1.1
88 accord lxi: horsepower: 110@5500
torque: 114@4500
compression: 9.3.1
crazy the lxi had lower compression up until 88, and it's peak torque curve was always at a higher rpm then the carbed car.
now look at the two preludes with the same engine as ours.
86 prelude SI : horsepower: 110@5500
torque: 114@4500
compression: 8.8.1
87 is the same
88 prelude SI :horsepower 110@5500
torque: 114@4500
compression: 9.0.1
now the non SI prelude with the same engine
horsepower: 100@5500 rpm
torque: 107@4000
compression: 9.1.1
I have pages and pages of charts on these engines everything from fuel pressure to oil pressure
