omg, i freakin' love this car! i was looking for some info on 15x8 wheels and got sucked in.
i was thinking about doing something similar with my hatch, but not a static drop. going with air struts and matte black instead of flat paint.
btw, love the chalk. "thunder chunky" needs to be written somewhere.

yeah every lowered car needs a skid plate...lots of stuff get scuffed due to steep driveways or speed bumps

yeah maybe not all lowered cars... mine does though. but i don't do driveways or speedbumps lol.. just avoid them.

i've tried to make a skid plate but i can't seem to find a place to bolt it on without having to weld it in place.

i'm basing mine off of the brace that runs from the front to rear subframe. it will be removable.

thats the only place where i can fab something up to hold a skid plate. i've only gone through a flex pipe, no oil pan yet.
