Actually Im not Tim . Im talking about the grates (BIG ASS STEEL PLATES SOMETIMES AS LONG AS A CAR) that the city of Atlanta loves to put over potholes and manhole instead of just fixing the problem. They eventually get around to it. Ive seen and heard of many people getting blowouts/bent rims, and totaling the car cause they hit so hard the airbags blow and the windshield busts. Just swerve around em if you come up to one, because hitting it is NOT what you want to do lol.

geez, sounds like just hitting pot holes is a safer option
inch and a half of suspension travel sits my upper balljoints in my fender frame and lays the strut on bumpstop. i don't like the idea of the grates! but i've seen those things before. not cool at all.
and lol @ 2dr-sei. i love that commercial
i love geico's ads. my favorite one is "will geico save you 15% or more on your insurance? will a 10lb bag of flour make a relly big biscuit?"
It's not failure, it's redefined objectives!

yeah i made it home no problems. 430 miles out of that tank of gas!
mo' fo' yo' viewin' pleasuhhhh.....
ok, so low on this car has limits i'm discovering. first off, constant bouncing because my strut is well beyond its range of motion. bottomed out without bumpstops at all. (top hat mod in near future)
but the big problem with ride quality was my upper balljoints bottoming out in the fender wells. sooooo....
pics will explain
then some seam sealer and body glaze
some sanding...
some primer...
this is where my uca sits on level ground
and i still have a bit of travel before the shock bottoms out completely. like i said, top hat mod soon. also doing prelude uca's and altering those so that the balljoint isn't binding at such a severe angle. then the only thing keeping me up will be the tires physically sitting on the fender wells, but the new wheel and tire setup should take care of that
tire on fender action. had to roll them so i could turn the wheel. getting into parking spaces became a 5 point turn... no fun.
and you'll notice that tire isn't white... yeah about those... got back from atlanta (barely) on these
separated a belt about 80 miles from home and kept driving. carefully. mont eagle mountain on that sucker was un-nerving.
so i grabbed some e30 steelies from the barn with decent tires on them and painted em tan. and yeah, i washed off the chalk. new look
but washing off the chalk just means i have a clean slate to work with!
thought this was pretty hilarious... get it?
lol
pics of the whole car with it slammed like that lol
