    Re: New Young Guy

I guess you could call me "old old" guy. It's is approaching nine years on the forum for me. Is it sad that I have owned this car for over twenty years? It's literally gotten to the point where I am afraid to give it up and get something new. Lucky for all of us that these cars are substantially overbuilt and will hold up like few other vehicles ever made. At this point even Honda probably wishes they had not been so well made. Welcome to the "club" and ask about anything. I can guarantee that just about anything you need to know is lurking in someone's brain here.

    Re: New Young Guy

Yeah, I did a bit of work on a friend's 76 and 77 Civics. They were a really complex maze of wires and hoses back then. After the 80's they actually started becoming simpler under the hood. I do believe that the third generation Accords were the pinnacle of the designer's art. Of course, I am a bit biased. My best friend's dad had an '84 LX sedan and I thought it was pretty sweet at the time.
