I need some pointers with power door locks

I'm installing a power door lock kit in my coupe and was wondering if anybody has any tips/advice about how to go about doing it.

Take the door panels off.
Run a couple of wires into each door.
When you remove the door you will see two metal rods that move back and forth when you lock/unlock or pull the door release.
Connect and mount the actuators in the door, they must be parallel to the one locking rod.
Make your connections to the alarm/keyless entry module using replays unless they are built in.

Where'd you get the power doorlock kit/how much was it? Are these common, i didn't know you could get them.
