when you are looking at all these hatches look for one that has a non cruise control wheel, i need the lousy contactor that is attached to the combination switch, four screws i think, it goes in place of the cruise control slip ring , I have looked everywhere and I just can't get one

I was at the pull a part here just friday, they just got a hatch in but its sunburned badly. I got a headlight cover off it though and sheet metal, bumpers etc were decent.
Dude, that was before I knew you, LOL but the next time I come down I'll hit you up.

I thought about selling these wheels but I kinda like'em again.

What looks better, the new school seven split spoke or the old school white five spoke (the ones in my sig)?

I favor the seven-spoke wheels. They remind me of the '08+ Fit Sport wheels.

I'll have to think, oh yea if you see one with a key in it, see if it opens the glovebox, i need a glovebox lock and a key that actually works with it.

Funny that you mention it. I have been thinking about that for a while. I even told TDurr that on Friday. I think it would really set the car off. Thanks for the image.

CAN ANYONE IN GEORGIA REFER ME TO A REPUTABLE BUSINESS THAT POWDER COATS ? CHROME AND POWDER COAT ARE DIFFICULT TO FIND HERE! Not that I need anything chromed mind you...

Was browsing through your thread, and I simply loved this pic but the colors seemed a bit off... Took the liberty of touching it up a bit.

if you get the contactor grab the tun signal cancel sleeve too, it pulls right off, i think it's different, not sure though here's what the contactor looks like, two screws and the entire thing comes right off

its not crazy at all, who said that hey bugs crawling pssst skittles are an alien conspiracy drewl...
looks awesome, btw the powder coating is stupid expensive so personally I wouldnt do it unless somebody owed me a favor or if I was doing a bunch of other stuff at the same time.
There are some good DIY paint kits for wheels that turn out nicely though. Those looked good just cleaned and polished a little IMO.

Re: Peteandjenn's 88 Hatch Build Thread

I found a place on Craigslist that P/C's for 50 bucks a wheel. I called the guy about it and he said $100.00 a wheel. I reminded him of his add and he said that price is for 14 inch steelies. I told him, "give me a fucking break!" What's the difference, not double for sure. Anyway, I'm thinking about buying a P/C gun from Eastwood. It's called the "Hot Coat" I think. check it out on YouTube. That and a second hand oven, shit I'll be ready to start my own custom shop. Hahaha

Lost suggested I use the 35/40 prop valve over the 40/40 due to less weight in the rear of the hatch than a sedan. I have heard of other dudes brakes locking up maybe due to increased fluid flow to the rear. I just dont want my ass end coming around on hard braking. I almost forgot, I picked up the front sway bar too; it looked a bit bigger than the stock Lx-i
isn't the 35/40 what the stock one is? anyway, the drum brakes get more fluid going to them than the disc brakes do, so using the 35/40 (which i assume is the stock one) is what causes your rear brakes to lock up. this happened to me when i used a drum/disc prop valve on a car with front & rear disc brakes.. the 40/40 is the correct one to use. this is just speaking from experience, someone feel free to correct me if i'm wrong
