AFM09-ACCORD FLORIDA MEET 2009- DEC5th

Hi guys I am currently planning my AFM09 meet. Normally its been a 4th gen meet for the past 4 years, this year I want to make it an all accord meet. So I would love some of the Florida 3rd gens to come out and join us. It's not a car show but a huge bbq meet. We are currently announce in like 5-6 different forums. For info please feel free to pm me, you can also see videos of last years meet on youtube, search AFM08. So if you guys can spread the word that would be great and I really hope to meet some of you guys in Dec.

Ok Accord fans that time fo the year for me to start prepping and stressing. Reason I am starting to announce the meet early is cause I want to set this meet on the map!! I expect over 200 accords at this meet, crazy number but we can do it guys. Last year was a blast, we had over 100 accords and the weather was freaking awesome. Below is the info on the park, as the date comes closer, we will have better idea of which hotel where the entire crew is going to stay at and I will also post 2 days before the meet our Twitter link. So start asking the boss for time off and see you guys in Florida!!

Dec4th- arrivals all day local and out of state, I will be running to airport to pick up people, friday night local Tower Shops car show(we will invade), then to checkers parking lot for late night grubbing, then late night car wash and of course party at the hotel

Dec5th-AFM09 meet starts from 8am-4pm, bbq, games, cars, goodtimes. Saturday night we roll to a nice dinner spot with plenty of parking. After party at location to be determined

Dec6th-breakfast at Ihop, then roll to Miami Beach with our tour guide Nightwolf to visit the hot spots and then say bye bye to all till next years meet

Hey guys here is the info on the hotel where everyone is staying at. The rooms have 2 beds and a coach with a pullout bed. So 3 per room comes out pretty damn cheap! The hotel will be pretty much booked by the entire AFM09 crew,lol. See you guys soon

well for those who do stay till sunday I was thinking of taking you guys around miami.

I was thinking of starting the day going for lunch at my local BBQ joint in west miami by the everglades on tamiami trail, then driving east along tamiami trail (AKA calle ocho) till we jump on I95 (some where along downtown). then we'll take it north till the dolphin expressway.

next head east on the dolphin over the bridge towards miami beach. we'll make a pit stop on watson island where us miami people hang out under the bridge. from there we'll keep heading east onto the island of miami beach.

while in miami beach we'll drive up ocean dr so you guys can get a good "look" at the scenery along the beach. then we'll head back to Watson island finish the night under the bridge. with all the night lights from downtown visible over the bay

take a look at the menu. youll need about $10 for a good meal. theres latin food. also you can have some everglades gator meat or frog legs. but if thats too much theres BBQ pork/beef/chicken too. it is a small place with out door style eating under some huts. I also think there will be enough parking for 20+ of us.

after the BBQ we'll drive east! I really dont think we should use the highway because it usually is gridlocked. but Ill have to see one of these sundays. another thing is the highway route will cost some money. I think about $3-4. plus if we use the street people can stop for gas. but again this part isnt 100% a sure thing.

after we get on the highway I95 going north. we'll quickly get off at exit 2D which is interstate 395 towards miami beach. shortly after that we'll pass over a bridge onto watson island. on this island there is parrot jungle(an exotic bird zoo) & miami childrens museum. right inbetween is the hangout spot. its right under the bridge you just got off.

at this spot we'll hang out for a few. & maybe do a shoot too...

after the hang out spot, we'll get back on the highway & head towards miami beach. when we got to miami beach we'll head up ocean dr till the end at 14pl (about 14 blocks). then turn around & use the next street over collins ave & head back down to florida A1A. (its what interstate 395 turns into). we'll take florida A1A back to the meet spot on waston island.

We got rained on a bit but the turnout was still good. We had about 82 accords there. Massive amounts of food and so on. I will post pics later on.

hate to say it but this doesnt shock me one bit this site is known for bails (gyno i know your situation), but sadly 3geez hasnt had a sucessfull meet in like 4 years down here in FL
