    Mad USDM bumper conversion

I haz it! Got myself a rear bumper trim and bumper lights from some Toyota since I'm going for all amber lights vs JDM being white/amber. I feel bad for chopping my bumper and going for USDM look while you guys would kill to get your hands on my bumper LOL.

    All amber bumper lights

Painted the housing black for the darker look. IDK if I like it or not.

Added T10 bulb for parking lights. I stole the socket from cluster bulb sockets I had lying around and modded them to fit the wires and epoxied them to the housing.

    Test fit

    Bumper cut

    No turning back now!

    Re: Mad USDM bumper conversion

Brackets/trim I fabricated from.... old computer case. I'm utilizing the lights mounting point. I'll get more pics of the process later. And yes, they will be painted.

Done. Minus the paint and minor aligning

    Test fit on the car

Done so far. I'll continue on the right side once my lower back feels better

    Re: Mad USDM bumper conversion

Well um I made the brackets on the right side, now all that left is to paint them and the trims since its faded. And yeah mount the trim properly haha

How USDM is that?! Wish I could leave my plate in there

    Even kitteh approves (y)

    Oh yeah, USDM>JDM

Next time you go to the junkyard buy one of these JDM bumpers, just in case you regret the mod later.

If you buy that 3gee climate control, I'll pay you mad cash for it. What's the lower center console of that same car? Equalizer?

I like them both but everybody have the exact same bumper as me, thought I'd want to be different from the rest :p

Haha I'll check them out later and I was being stupid enough not to realize what the lower console has until I got home >.<

    BTW updates!

Keep in mind we never have amber side marker/front bumper lights as parking lights. Just small white light near the turn signal. And its illegal too :p

Can't wait to get myself the USDM side markers!

Your car does look great Hazwan. The UDSM bumpers don't detract at all. However, I don't think you realize how HUGE the USDM sidemarkers are!!

I think it look awesome like that Haz. What's the attraction to USDM sidemarkers; I'm guessing the lower profile?
