yea i have noticed that alot of people with crappy cars desire to make them fast, so instead of actually puttin in real wrk on the engine or other things that really mater they add flamboyant body kits, spoilers, coffee can mufflers....all that plain ridiculous stuff...
unfortunatly this could easily be becuase of the lack or true performance knowledge and the interest to look/act like others. They thing the sound of a turbo exhaust is caused by the afart can. Maybe the movies causing the uprising od spoilers and bodykits.Originally Posted by swell

i like a couple 4th gens with wings/body kits/altezzas... as long as they have an h22 to back it up tho... im not riceing mine tho lol the color brown and rice dont match...

most of the ones i've ever talked to think their cars with the stock engines and ugly body kits and wings can beat anything on the road. Remember each sticker is worth 10 horsepower ,even if they don't have the actual part. I would like to see the reaction on some of their faces if they saw a few of our turbo cars running at the track.
or running against theirs from a red light lol.The real speed doesnt come until they get going about 150 and the downforce starts working hahahaha.(sarcasm)

I just found out that the A20A3 has like 90hp at the wheels (the 120hp rating is a the flywheel, I guess). That made me feel cool. Under 100hp, and I still kick 90% of the cars at my schools' asses.
Not all wings are ricey,personally i like a wing.It depends on the way the car is done,not just one thing.I mean the nascar guys run them now.
yeah but nascar needs down force when they are doing 160 around a track.I dont like the big spoilers cause everytime I get behind someone who has one im scared to death its going to shake off there and come tearing through my windsheild.An I would with out a doubt have to run them down an put em in the wall if that hapened.(lol)
um nascars are also around 700 hundred horsepower, go close to 200 MPH and are REAR WHEEL DRIVEall that downforce on the back of a front wheel drive car does a whole lot of good

I like some wings its just those 12 inch double stacks an all those that are gross. I would never put a wing thats more than 5 or 6 inches on any of my cars but ive seen them work its when those damn kids with a beat down car with no mods a huge spoiler an neon drive around thinking there hot shit they ruin everything then get cops on are nuts cuz they drive like monkeys an a cop dosnt know tha differnce between a modified car and a ricer. Since we're on the topic of wings, can someone tell me if this one is stock or not. Saw it on a 3Gee at the junkyard.

no thats not stock tho me and my brother found one at the junk yard we are puting on his 3gee but we pulled it off a 86 firebird
Ya like my brother said its a 86 firebird spoiler we have one im in tha process of painting now. i think they look damn good on a 3gee its not huge its stock just not honda stock

Yep theres my car. I know im worried about having to drill holes thats why i havent already painted it an mounted it plus i have a horrible tool selection an i dont think we have a powerful enough drill. I have painted it black though just need clear coat.
