I ordered springs from them as well and they were in a plastic bag taped up in a thin box just barely big enough for them to fit in.

Not the best shipping practices, but they are hardeened steel. Its not like they're going to bend unless someone drops a pallet of crap on it.

If they made titanium retainers I'd buy though.

I got put on the cam gear list and the person on the line said mid next month I should get a call about them being ready for production. Dont know if i'll actually buy one though.

Re: Bisimoto Engineering - Group Buys

Well considering they wouldnt do $5 flat rate shipping (could be done they are less than 3 lbs and would fit in the box.) So they told me they could do $20 for shipping when I called em, then tried to do it when I checked out and got an email saying they couldnt do it, but that they would send me a tag frame and some stickers and such.

The reason for the $25 shipping. "We charge that much for shipping because of all the extra stuff we put in the box."

I say what extra stuff, I got a small ass box just barely big enough to put the springs in, as well as a sticker. Woopty do that sticker was $20 evidently. Thats not how you run a business. I would have loved to have nothing but the springs, and pay $5 for flat rate shipping, that would have floated my boat.

So long story short, no matter how good the product, I will probably not be ordering from them again. Im hard-headed and Im down with being not treated like an idiot, if I get crappy service from something or someone, I never go back.

ehhh while i keep most of my thoughts on this, I will say, that if they run their business where they give random customers special treatment/discounts just because of them not liking their shipping prices, that would mean they would also have to do this for everyone else who didn't like the prices.

You can't run a good/successful business doing favors for everyone who ask.

I fixed my original post for you faggot. Thats what I mean, I didnt mean special treatment.

You also cant play the "Youre getting more stuff, so the shipping is higher game." Esp. when youre not. I got springs and a sticker Tim. NOTHING else. not unless you count the box. Im a penny pincher which is why I had so many assets and stuff. $5 shipping would have been fine.

Oh yeah heres what I received in an email from em; "Greetings Luke,
Our shipping charges change on a daily basis. But to help you out, I will throw in a license plate holder and a couple of decals.
    Hope that helps! =)"

    lol

I know what you mean man, but Tims actually got a point. Remember someone has to get paid to package and ship.

    shippings a little steepthough.

Re: Bisimoto Engineering - Group Buys

Im sorry but if theyre getting $25 bucks to do that then I need to work there. I didnt say special treatment so Tim doesnt have a point. i edited my original post to convey what I meant. What I really hate is them not backing their word. They told me over the phone they could ship for $20, then I got an email back saying they couldnt...but they would Throw a tag frame and stickers is. They told me that was coming originally lol. I dont even want the junk I just want the springs and flat rate shipping.

Anyway Im done whoring in here. Just saying I probably wont be ordering a cam gear from em after all. Wonder how much shipping will be for a light cam gear. $20, $30, $50?.

I'm assuming they will stand by this. Luke, sorry they rubbed you the wrong way. I will def. agree with you that they should stand by what they say. I'm thinking a lot of their problems are communication errors, which is unfortunate.

communication errors will do it. Sometimes they end up helping ppl out(getting extra burgers at fast food places ftw!), and sometimes not.
