^^ Indeed, black is by far one of my favorite colors, if not the best color on a 1st gen.
I'm so jealous of that rear spoiler, it's not even funny! That has to be some sort of retro-fit or universal fit spoiler, doesn't it?

Exciting to see the progress. Can't wait to see the results. That crease is hard to get looking right, good luck. Faults never seem to show up until you think you are done!
Trimmed Mk2 Golf front lip? Rear hatch looks so clean without badges, those individual H-O-N-D-A letters are so difficult to clean around.
..What crease?, The one where the wheel arch and rest of the front meets?
I sort of did my best, and the rest the front bumper will cover. Carefully planed ;-)
I'm not sure about the lip or the spoiler. I guess I'm lucky somebody pimped it before I bought it.
I still got the honda letters if anyone wants them
Looking great! Can't wait to see it all shiny and in paint!
Another spam post coming Done with paint today! OMg, I just can't believe it. I'm actually done with the bodywork and paint!
For those who haven't read the whole tread, or forgot; Before you ask/say anything, I'm sorry to say, but I didn't do a whole bodypaint, I "only" painted the right side of the car since that was where the damage was.
I totally should have I repainted the whole car.
But that would be a massive job, my guess is the rest of the car isn't that flawless when you start to sand it down, suddenly theres hundreds of small dings and things you have to fill with bondo.
Maybe I'll consider it some time later, its anyways insain that I even worked on the car this month, since there is like between -1celcius and -20 Celsius outside, and my "garage" is like a pit hole, no isolation no nothing. The doors don't even close tight, there is always gaps in the bottom part.
Working with bondo or even using a compressor and spray painting when its that cold is ridiculous. Filler has 20 hours drying time, in room temperature!
So I'm actually overexcited over the fact that I got it done! Omg
My plans now, is really just letting it sit in its garage till the weather gets warmer, and the snow melts away. When spring time come, its will be changing of breaks and interior, and a good ol' polish so that rest of the car matches the new painted side
Pictures follow.
WET-SANDING
I guess you can say we used a "wee-bit" of sanding paper. This is just a fraction
Cars out of the bat-cave, and inside the paintshop.
Ready for paint!
I'm totally loving this car.
