    I relocated my battery to the trunk

    And have been having problems every since ok so one day i decided i wanted to have more room for my intake to come down more so i did a little looking around and decided im going to relocate it to the trunk so that i did i think its just the wires because it has a hard time turning over i used 10 gauge amp wire to wire it help me please ill post pics

    wire gauge seems to small in my opinion, you should of gone with at least 4 gauge for the relocation.
    Are the cables warm to the touch, after trying to start the car?
    How did you connect the wires off of the fuse box and starter?
    Did you use a junction block? and is it fused?

    Honda used 8 gauge from the factory, and the longest run of it was between the alternator and the battery, it was about 6 feet. You need to be running 4 gauge AT LEAST, preferably 2 gauge. I'd personally be using 0 gauge welding wire. I wouldn't run a 200 watt amp off of 8 gauge from a battery located in the front of the car.

    nope the wires stay kewl when i start it nope i didnt put a fuse i just ran the wire to the back under the carpet

    okay so 0 gauge wires do i need the ground the block at all or the wire from the valve cover to the frame is ok?

    yes you should allways fuse it right off the battery(no more then 6 inchs front hte post).. think if there was a short in the wire and there was nothing to stop the power it could cause a nasty fire and would fuck your cars electrical all up;....

    and yes 10ga is way to small.. go with atleast 4 ga

    The small 10 gauge wire is causing too much resistance for the necessary cranking amps to the starter.

    As Pico said nothing smaller than 4 gauge larger if you can afford it.

    You have a 65 amp Alt so a 65-75 amp fuse would work fine. Audio store, Walmart are even carrying them now.
