did you get a bill-of-sale? if you did, you might be able to just bring that to the dmv and have them do a title search for you that way you don't have to wait it out.... ...or why can't someone else at his house just talk to him and find out where the title is and give it to you?

i did get the bill of sale but i wasnt sure if that would work and he also wrote down the bill of sale on notebook paper
i asked if they had the title but they told me he had to go get it himself since it was in his name
well guys its bein a while but i accually got some progress on my hatch. First off i finally got the damn title from the guy. i accually got it yesterday. Some new things i got for the car is i got a new drivers side upper control arm, outer tie rods for both sides and a new water pump for it. i can put some pics up later but now i need to save up for a tune up well thats all for now i guess
