    fuel filter question

    why does the carbed accord have two fuel filters. isnt that a bit extreme. i thought one would have worked but i may be wrong.anyone got an opinion or thoughts
    This is an 86 honda. how dare you

    one is an OH SHIT filter in case some bonehead leaves his filter in so long that the filter falls apart and crap makes it to the carb. or you use a fram,same thing.

    Most gas dissolves the inside part (strainer/paper) in the fuel filter over a good period of time. With California hippie gas they add so many additives that it can dissolve in a matter of 3 months. My Carb was not cheap, more fuel filters less carb problems.
