technicly nothing will change it from a LXI DX LX what ever it came stock lol... but it would have a type r engine so if you put a type r badge on it wouldnt be as bad.. lol personly i would put a DX badge on it and make people think it was a slow carbed car and then smoke them

what's the difference between a b18 and an LS cah?
you people love to point but you make your own mistakes...
i personally would love to see this guy stuff a k motor into the accord, but alas, it will never happen.

This seems to be a defacto answer when someone comes on here asking a generalized question about performance upgrades or some type of radical/abnormal engine swap.
Best advice I can give is make a plan and stick to it. You can do anything to a car. just takes time and money. How much money you have is directly proportional to the time it takes to finish the project.

lol well there is only one LS and its a not vtec engine... while there is sevreal B18s and most are vtec (IE expensive b18c5) i honestly dont know much about b series only know a little about LS VTEC as i was reserching on that when i almost bought a DA... other then that never cared enough to continue learning about them lol
(aol has no spell check so there is a bunch of mishaps i reckon)

right but when someone says b18 they are referring to the LS, and there is not only 1 ls, there are b18a1's and b18b1's etc... the point was if someone is referring to a vtec b18 they call it a gsr pretty much 99 percent of the time, and an LS is a b18a1 or b1 depending on years.
i understand what you were saying but so many people were poking fun at him using an o on accident.

You could swap in a J-series. For all intents and purposes, it would be as easy as swapping a K or H-series, and with way more power.
gas powered cars are so last year, all the cool people are using beer to power their a20s! you didnt know? you fail.....
WHOA.....give the kid a break its Chrismas eve for crying out loud. I feel like beening nice LOL.
Point beening everyone is saying THERE isnt much out there for swaps. Either you have to make/fab up some mounts which there is some mounts made at the moment that is in production BUT you still need to get half shafts made, get obd1 harness which is also avaliable.
I would look at the faqs brother, search theres plenty of info on this forum. IF you dont want to get flamed then search. ITS on the the faq. AT the home page theres info on motor swaps. H22 would be a nice power plate. But mounts are a baster knot to make.
IF you have the CASH MONEYYYYY. then shit i hope you get this motor in. Actully theres a memeber on her selling one bout 2 hours from me. Motor is in already. just need to fix it up a bit.asking 3500 i think. RUNNING great buy i say....
SEARCH once again. plenty of info. i know you get lazy but its there. IF you look.
God bliss and merry ho ho ho to you....LOL....no but im serious.

there's something that i'm still wondering.. is that b18a jdm dual carb also called an LS engine? is there any possibility to put on a vtec head on that engine? sry if i'm asking in the wrong section but still i have doubts about it since articles only says b18a1 or b18b can do the LSVTEC.. and some of my mechanics here says it is possible to do the swap with the b18b but not the jdm b18a..
Realistically i would say convert to fuel injection before anything else. You have to do that before you can swap a different motor in there. Once you have done that then search for the rest of the swap info!
that's the main reason why i want to swap in the vtec head. if i want to convert to fuel injection, i need to replace the head as well. so, it's easier to do it once for all because in here, we're 99% rely on workshops to do the mechanics or even a swap. so it's not a good idea to do the same thing twice since we hav to throw in more money. that's why i would like to gather some information first regarding the lsvtec and also my jdm b18a block. is it still called an ls engine and would a vtec head fit on the block?

You don't have to change out the head to convert the a20 to FI. There's many threads about that on here, Use the search. I think your getting in over your head with the LSvtec, you can't swap any vtec heads onto the a20 block. Like I said the step to doing any swap into a carved a20 3g is to convert the car to FI. Otherwise ur not going anywhere.
